Bjorn Le Roux

Bjorn has been involved in web design training since 1999 when he delivered his first in-house training course in Adobe Flash v4. He spent 4 years delivering Microsoft Official Curriculum courses, helping over 150 people gain professional Microsoft qualifications before turning his attentions to the web. His passion for semantic markup and web standards enabled him to developed the Enterprise Webmaster course for the AxisCentre in Nottingham which was accredited by De Montfort University. Over the past 6 years he has delivered over 100 training courses in subjects from complying with Web Standards & Accessibility to mastering Google Analytics. (See more here)

Bjorn now specialises in the delivery of courses in hand coding XHTML and CSS based websites, PHP training and jQuery training. These are primarily technical subjects aimed at those who are looking to become professional web developers. He feels that having a good cross section of technical skills is an important part of being able to explain how modern websites are built. Bjorn encourages doing things the right way and feels that this is especially true when starting to learn a new technical subject.

Tilky Fernandez

Tilky has been working as a professional graphic designer for 15 years and has experience in both the private and public sector. She earned her BFA in Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. After spending some time at an advertising agency in Miami, Florida, she transitioned to an in-house role at a large US engineering firm where she specialized in corporate identity branding and print design for marketing campaigns and various publications including magazines and annual reports.

Having previously conducted training to assist media groups transitioning from using Quark XPress to Adobe InDesign in America, she hopes to facilitate the process for Creative Suite users in Nottingham.
